We just finished with a successful weekend at Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA. We got to meet a lot of really great people that continue to inspire us on a daily basis to continue pushing the vegan food world. We want to thank each person that came to our booth and happily sampled our products and gave us great and encouraging praises & feedback. You mean the world to us.

We used this trade show as an opportunity to launch some exciting new products we’ve been working on and to sample some our existing products.

Vegan Mozzarella Teese Shreds
We’ve taken our best selling flavor of Teese Vegan Cheese and put it in the often requested shred form. It’s awesome! Was so convenient as we made pizzas all weekend long. Same great flavor! Same great stretch! Same great melt! AND we’re really happy to say it’s in a resealable bag (something that’s missing in the vegan cheese world). We’ll have news very soon about when and where you can start buying this great new product from us.

Dandies Tweets
Tweets? It’s our version of the ever so popular Easter treat, Peeps. These are uh-may-zing. Really! Coated in a naturally flavored orange sugar. Tastes like an orange dreamsicle. Be prepared! Will be available online very very soon and look for news on stores carrying it too! Expect to see us doing more seasonal variations of this too.

Vegan Mozzarella Teese Sticks
We’ve been doing these since late last year for restaurants and it’s been doing very well for us. This is the first time we starting pushing it for retail consumption (although we do sell them online right now via veganessentials.com). This was a huge hit at the show and we fully expect this to start appearing in stores nationally in the coming months.

Teese Vegan Nacho Sauce
Not at all a new product but very worth noting that we had our nacho pump being pushed to the limit at Expo West. We saw a lot of happy faces trying our nacho sauce, many for the very first time. If you want the perfect, easy to make nacho sauce for your next party look no further!

Dandies Vegan Marshmallows
We sampled thousands of vegan marshmallows in this weekend. Everyone loves a marshmallow. Some loved it so much they kept coming back for more and more and more! Available now nationally at all Whole Foods in the US and Canada.

VegNews Magazine awarded ProBar with a Best of Show award for their amazing new Halo S’mores bars. These feature Dandies Vegan Marshmallows inside and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of such a great bar with such a great company. Very soon these will be all over the country and you will freak out over how great they are.

It was also really great meeting the people behind two great vegan companies Food For Lovers who make a killer Vegan Queso and Eatpastry who make what’s probably the greatest vegan cookie dough the world has ever known. We got to spend some quality time with the staff of VegNews Magazine over some delicious Veggie Grill food and Compassion Over Killing keeping our feet wet in the hot tub at the hotel. Saw our awesome friends Ani Phyo and Melisser who wrote the great book The Vegan Girl’s Guide to Life and caught up with some folks behind Field Roast. Got visits from some bloggers we love from Hugger Food, superVegan and Quarrygirl.

Overall a great and fun time with hugely ambitious goals coming out of it. We couldn’t be prouder of the great food we’re producing for you!
