Cheddar Fries with Teese Vegan Cheese Cheddar Sauce from Pick Me Up Cafe (Chicago, IL).

This was a good night. A few weeks ago I took my 13 year old daughter to see a band she greatly enjoys (Plain White T’s) at Metro in Chicago. Metro shows are always awesome because there are two really amazing restaurants nearby that serve Chicago Soydairy products. Pick Me Up Cafe and the world famous Chicago Diner. Both have Teese Vegan Cheese and Temptation Vegan Ice Cream. Chicago Diner serves the BEST vegan milkshakes in the world. This is a confirmed fact!

Anyways it’s customary after Metro shows to walk over to Pick Me Up and grab a bite to eat. It’s been an after show ritual off and on for me for 10+ years now. This happened to be my first time taking my daughter there for a post-show hang. We shared vegan cheese fries and a slice of vegan cheesecake. Brutal but necessary.
